This statement explains which personal data SOFTNIVERSE processes when you use this website or contact us, why we process it, and which rights you have. The short version: we collect as little as possible, we use it only to respond to you, and we never sell it.
We only process personal data that you actively share with us: typically your name, email address, company name, and whatever you write in a message. This website has no user accounts and builds no visitor profiles.
Like almost every website, our hosting provider keeps technical server logs (IP address, time of request, pages served) for security and reliability. We do not use these logs to identify individual visitors.
When you send us a message through the contact form, we receive the details you filled in by email. We use them for one purpose: answering your question and, if it comes to that, preparing a proposal. Your details are never added to a mailing list and never shared with third parties for marketing.
This website works without advertising cookies and without cross-site tracking. If we measure how the site is used, we do so with privacy-respecting, aggregated statistics that cannot be traced back to you as a person.
That is also why you will not find a cookie banner here: there is nothing to opt in to.
We keep correspondence about an inquiry for as long as the conversation is relevant, usually no longer than one year after our last contact. If an inquiry leads to a project, we keep the related correspondence and records for as long as the engagement and our legal administrative obligations require (for Dutch tax administration, up to seven years).
Under the GDPR you can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. You can also object to processing, ask us to restrict it, or request a copy of your data in a portable format.
Send your request by email and we will respond within one month. If you believe we handle your data incorrectly, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
